Who is this plan for?
This plan is designed for runners who can already run at least 10 km continuously and want to improve their 5K performance. It is ideal for runners targeting a new personal best and who have around 12 weeks until race day.
Do I need a gym? What equipments are required?
No, a gym membership is not mandatory. All running sessions can be completed outdoors. The strength workouts are designed for a gym, but every exercise includes substitutions so you can train effectively at home with minimal equipment.
How many days per week will I train?
The plan follows a 3-day running schedule each week, along with 2–3 strength sessions. This balance improves speed while reducing the risk of injury.

Yes. The plan works best when followed for the full 12 weeks, but you can also start later by joining at the week that matches your remaining time before race day.
Will I get personal coaching?
No. This is a self-guided PDF training program. It includes everything you need to follow the plan independently. If you’re looking for personalized coaching, you can apply for my 1-on-1 coaching program separately.
Is this suitable for complete beginners?
No. This plan is not designed for beginners. You should already be able to run at least 10 km continuously before starting. If you’re new to running, I recommend starting with my Beginner 5K Plan.
